Over the past 2 years, Reject Raytheon AVL has been instrumental in creating two broader groups of allies, one national and one local.

On the Local Level

Asheville Only One Earth Coalition was formed to bring local organizations that are focused on the issues that impact the future of our planet–militarism, nuclear armament and climate emergency–together. Officially, the Asheville Only One Earth Coalition is an assembly of local groups dedicated to working for peace, justice, and a harmonious relationship with life on Earth.  Our common purpose is to be a positive voice and an actor to address the life-threatening and planetary crises we face today.

On the National Level

WIRN, the War Industry Resisters Network, is a coalition of groups opposing their local war companies, joined together to focus on corporate control over US foreign policy. This coalition brings together people from California, Arizona, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Connecticut, Illinois, Texas as well as leaders from national organizations, like Code Pink, Veterans for Peace, and World Beyond War. Over the past year, WIRN has hosted monthly webinars about the various dimensions of the war industry in the United States.

We are also close allies with the following organizations:

Veterans for Peace

Mass Peace Action

World Beyond War

Code Pink
