We held our first roadside vigil at the site of bridge construction for the Pratt & Whitney plant as part of an international day of action to Stop the War in Yemen. The United States supports the government of Saudi Arabia with arms, surveillance, and operational assistance in perpetrating what the UN calls the worst humanitarian crisis in the world. One of the driving forces behind the US support of this war is the huge profit being made by defense contractors, especially Raytheon Technologies, Pratt & Whitney parent company.
