Paddle to Protect the Water
Eleven people in 8 canoes and kayaks decorated with signs and balloons paddled on the French Broad River, from Hominy Creek Park to the Craven Street, to raise awareness about the potential damage to the river that a factory like Pratt & Whitney could cause. We interacted with many tubers enjoying the morning relaxing on the river.
